Transforming rural livelihoods through community participation and sustainable development

Vision

Building a prosperous Karnataka with the creation of abundant opportunities for community-based institutions, agricultural and non-agricultural livelihood activities, self-employment and wage-based jobs with skill development, gender, water, hygiene and sanitation, financial literacy with inclusion, vast marketing avenues, personality and family development programs for the poor people of rural Karnataka.

About KSRLPS

The Karnataka State Rural Livelihood Promotion Society (KSRLPS), popularly known as Sanjeevini, is the State Rural Livelihood Mission of Karnataka, operating under the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) — a flagship poverty alleviation programme of the Government of India.

KSRLPS works to mobilize poor rural households into Self Help Groups (SHGs) and their federations, and supports them with financial resources and capacity-building inputs to improve their livelihoods on a sustainable basis.
